We are excited to share some lovely photos from Kathleen + Joyce’s summer wedding. As a wedding photographer, we experience many wonderful moments throughout the day. One of my personal favorite moments would be the getting ready photos. Being able to see the anticipation and excitement in each of the bride’s face speaks volumes to this life changing moment and their new journey together. We started the wedding at Kathleen’s home in Bay Ridge where both brides got ready and followed by their first look. Joyce had mentioned that she wanted to visit the Verrazano Bridge in Brooklyn to have their photos taken as this is how she used to commute from New Jersey to Brooklyn to visit Kathleen. We also visited Brooklyn Bridge Park in Dumbo Brooklyn for more photos before the heading over to Battery Gardens for the ceremony and reception. It was great being part of this wedding and meeting their family and friends. Overlooking Battery Park and the Hudson River, the ceremony was set amidst a stunning backdrop at Battery Gardens. The reception was full of energy and all the guests enjoyed some fun poses and moments at the photo booth. We even had a moment to enjoy some live fireworks across the water from New Jersey. Congratulations again to Kathleen + Joyce and we wish the best for you both.
