Located in the Long Island City area of New York City, Gantry Plaza State Park is a 10 acre park that was built in 1998. The park is a well known post-ceremonial wedding venue, hosting thousands of post-ceremonial photography sessions every single year, whether it be Spring, Summer, Winter, or Autumn. The panoramic cityscape of NYC overshadows the entire park, and from certain angles you can take photos that create the illusion of a bride and groom standing on a skyscraper, while they’re actually residing on the ground. This venue is really as beautiful as it gets as far as urban photography backdrops are concerned.
