Wedding season is in full swing, and getting the opportunity to work with a couple like Florence and Richard always reminds me of just how much I love my job! After shooting their engagement photos in Tribeca in the spring, I could not wait to work with them again, and it was my honor and pleasure to shoot their wedding on June 4.
Florence and Richard are a wonderfully easy-going, down to earth couple. Richard works as an IT professional, and Florence is a teacher who is no doubt excited about summer vacation! The love they share for each other is so pure and so evident, you can feel their happiness in each and every picture. Even the simplest glance at each other illuminates joy.
As you may remember from their engagement shoot, Florence and Richard really know how to choose great spots for photographs. They chose Mulan, an Asian-fusion restaurant in Flushing, as their wedding venue. The atmosphere in Mulan is a really great combination of laid-back yet sophisticated. . . A perfect setting for a couple like Florence and Richard! We also stopped over at Central Park for some pictures. As a New York wedding photographer, Central Park will always be one of my favorite locations for a shoot. It’s an oasis in the heart of the city that always provides a perfect backdrop for timeless wedding pictures.
Florence and Richard’s wedding day was overflowing with love and friendship. Florence’s sister Vicky served as her maid of honor, and Richard’s friend Alan served as the best man. And, of course, I can’t forget to mention Florence and Richard’s adorable son Byron! It was a truly blessed day for this family.
To Florence and Richard: Congratulations and best wishes for many years of happiness, neighbors! I look forward to seeing you around the block!
