Grand Harmony Wedding Photos | Yan Eng + Peter

I first met Peter Eng at a photography workshop. As a fellow photographer, I have to admit that one of the first things you think about when you get engaged is….who do you hire as a photographer? It’s a really difficult choice for two reasons: 1) You can’t shoot the wedding yourself; and 2) Being a part of the wedding industry, there are tons of photographers out there with awesome talent, so where do you start? This was my first time shooting another photographer’s wedding so it was definitely interesting and new. I also had the pleasure to shoot with Kevin Chen from Dynasty Weddings.

Peter and Yan is a great and beautiful couple to work with. Not to mention the obvious – it was one fun wedding! Peter and Yan’s creative wedding planning landed us right on top of a double decker bus tour around NYC! Not only is it large enough to transport the entire bridal party (and more!), but it’s perfect for sightseeing as you’re going from place to place on your wedding day! We started our tour from the groom’s house in Queens and ventured out to our first stop at the new Brooklyn Bridge State Park in Brooklyn. We then drove through the city towards Times Square, where the tourists were more than eager to cheer for the newlyweds. This creativity really gave their wedding pictures a unique touch.
