Sometimes, the way you start your morning is a strong indication of how your day will go. Upon arriving at Marissa’s home, I immediately knew it was going to be a great day and a great wedding. The beautiful bride-to-be greeted me with a huge smile and was completed calm and relaxed. I really enjoyed photographing the “getting ready” portion of the day because the atmosphere was calm and everyone was enjoying themselves. There was no panicking, no frantic rushing, and no ‘case of the nerves’. There were also many moments amongst the bride’s family during this time that was priceless, such was capturing Marissa’s parents all teary-eyed as they watch their daughter get ready.
As we arrived to Liberty House, located within Liberty State Park in Jersey City NJ, we were greeted with friendly staff and unsurpassed views of the Manhattan skyline. Marissa + Michael celebrated with their close family and friends on this wonderful and memorable night.
