I always enjoy learning more about my clients, especially when they share the story of their proposal with me. I get a glimpse of their special moment and I get to learn a little bit more about them – from their creativity in the proposal planning to the reactions and tears of joy afterwards. Giuseppe’s proposal to Rosemarie on the top of the Empire State Building is definitely one with surprises, creativity and romance all in one.

It was a great day to visit Fort Tyron Park, with its beautiful scenic view of the Hudson River, George Washington Bridge, the NJ Palisades and the Harlem River. Nestled in the heart of Washington Heights in Upper Manhattan, this park is a true gem. Each time I visit this location, while only a mere few miles from the heart of Manhattan, I feel like I have left the city for the beautiful rural upstate New York. The views from this park are just breathtaking and there’s always plenty of fun locations for a photographer to work with.

This session was photographed on the last day of summer this year. We ended the summer together with these timeless memories for Giuseppe and Rosemarie, and am excited to see what’s in store for this lovely couple in the next seasons to come as they plan their wedding at Land’s End. I can’t wait to photograph your wedding next year! Congratulations!

When I first met Jenny + Billy, my first impression was how great this couple is. I felt as if I knew them for many years. They are both down-to-earth and easy to talk to. During our first meeting, they shared with me their proposal story of how Billy proposed at home. During our engagement session at Fort Tyron Park, we had such a great time working together. I had the pleasure to visit this amazing location again. Jenny + Billy were completely excited and up for the challenge to explore and walk on unleveled terrain to take these photos. Fort Tyron Park Engagement Photos | Cindy + Eddie

There’s so many great things I have to say about this couple. First off, I love animals and especially when clients decide to bring their pets along during the photo shoot. Seeing them both interact with their dog definitely brings out their characteristics. In addition, their wedding this year will be at the Venetian Yacht Club, which is the same venue where my wife and I got married. While I will be creating new memories for this sweet couple, I will be reliving some valuable memories of my own! Eddie and Cindy definitely has great taste with choosing their vendors and details for the wedding.

We decided to have our photo shoot at Fort Tyron Park. In New York City, we have plenty of parks but what amazes me about Fort Tyron is the beautiful view and paths. After introducing this location to Eddie and Cindy, they were sold once they heard about the stone buildings, Hudson river view and scenic paths. Thank you both for such an enjoyable photo shoot, I can’t wait to capture your wedding later this year!
