When I was growing up, my friends and I would always love to visit Coney Island for a famous Nathan’s hotdog or a thrill ride on the Cyclone roller coaster. And now, although our studio is located less than two miles from Coney Island, we rarely have a chance to visit until recently, when Diana and Stan suggested this theme park for their engagement session. I was excited to have this opportunity to capture their moments together at Coney Island and to reminisce some of my very own childhood memories. With all the excitement and people visiting Coney Island everyday, this prime Brooklyn location has been bringing lifelong memories to many.

Diana and Stan were a great couple to work with. We must have walked more than 5 miles during our entire session on that very warm summer day and they were up for any challenge. You don’t realize how much you walk or work when you’re having fun, and Diana and Stan definitely enjoyed themselves at the theme park.

Luna Park Astroland Engagement Photos | Julie + Carlos

I am blessed to have great clients and an awesome job. Thanks to Carlos and Julie, I was able to relive my child hood memories from growing up in Brooklyn, NY. Carlos and Julie decided to have their engagement photos taken at Coney Island, Luna Park (formerly known as Astroland). As soon as I arrived at the location, I remembered the good times I had when I visited this place. And if you’ve ever gone on the Cyclone roller-coaster, these are memories you don’t forget easily. Although the park was closed for the season, we were still lucky to be able to use the surrounding area for our session. Carlos and Julie were very easy to work with with barely any directions from my end. They were able to create real moments with the chemistry that they have with each other. Thank you both for having me capture your moments.
