Nothing is more refreshing then a beautiful wedding on a wonderful summer’s day. I was pleased to spend the day photographing a truly wonderful couple like Julia and Wally. Their love was apparent from the very moment I meet them. I always enjoy capturing such special moments between two great people.

Julia and Wally was married on June 26th and it was a great day for a wedding. Everyone was so excited and the couple was ready to start their lives together. The wedding took place at the exquisite Bourne Mansion in Oakdale, New York. The Bourne Mansion is absolutely stunning and a dream location for any wedding couple. This was a wedding that everyone in attendance will remember for a very long time.

Julia looked stunning in her Jocelyn gown by Maggie Sottero. The A-line dress featured a beautiful corseted top and pick-up bottom. The entire dress was adorned with lace embellishments, Swarovski crystals, glass beads, bugle beads, seed beads, and sequins. The back is completed with a caught up chapel length train. Julia had her flawless makeup done by Embellir Artistry and the bridesmaids were wearing bridesmaid dresses by Bari Jay. Lotus Bridal in Brooklyn provided all the dresses and makeup services for Julia and her attendants.

The reception was remarkable with incredible food and drinks. The guests, bridal party and the newlywed couple had a great time dancing the night away to a live band. There was no DJ for this wedding! Julia and Wally wanted the live interaction that only a band can provide. Everyone was commenting how they were having such an amazing time and how wonderful the bride looked. It was a perfect day for a perfect couple that is so in love. This is evident in the selection of photos you will see below.

Once I spent time with Julia and Wally back a few months ago when we did their engagement session I just knew they were meant for each other. Their chemistry is great and the love shows on their faces when they look at each other. I am so happy to have been a part of their journey and wish them all the love and happiness for a lifetime.

Brooklyn Bridge Park Engagement Photos | Julia + Wally

Give me a sunny day, a beautiful couple, an overly adorable dog, and you have the main props for a beautiful shoot. I was really excited when we finally approached the day of this shoot. It’s been many months with back and forth emails just to plan a date and finally we were lucky to find something that works out perfectly. As I mentioned in the past, I love it when couples bring their pets to a shoot, especially dogs! Having their dog with them during the shoot really allows the
couple to forget about the camera and enjoy their day out. And for me, this allows me to capture true moments.

I wanted to thank you both for having me as your photographer and I cannot wait for your wedding day. But before we come to the big day… here’s a few of my favorite engagement shoot photographs.

Also, thank you for the tasty smoothie from Aloha Grinds! It was absolutely delicious and was the perfect way to cool off after a shoot. We had a fun couple of hours, which I’m sure you’ll agree – there’s plenty of good laughs, smiles and hugs and kisses.

Old Westbury Garden Wedding Photos | Carol + Tony

As their wedding day approaches, we decided to setup up a photo shoot for Tony and Carol in addition to their engagement session we had a couple of weeks ago. Set in the middle of Old Westbury, Long Island, we arrive at Old Westbury Gardens. We began our photo shoot indoors where we were surrounded by the beautiful decor of the Old Westbury house and then moved on to the lush beauty of the green acres around the estate. Although this was only a bridal portrait session, Tony had a sneak peak of what his beautiful bride will look like on their wedding day. Carol was wearing a beautiful wedding dress that was designed exclusively by Lotus Bridal.

Only a few more months to go until the special day where all this magic becomes real!
