]]> I had the pleasure of capturing Winnie + Jian’s wedding ceremony at City Hall, followed by a portrait session at Dumbo in Brooklyn.  We really enjoyed the photo session with this newlywed couple as they easygoing and great to work with.   Also, it was great timing on our part, as we visited Brooklyn Bridge Park during the “Please Touch the Art” exhibition by Danish artist Jeppe Hein.  Winnie + Jian did not hesitate at all when deciding to photograph inside the Appearing Rooms, an installation with walls of water that create rooms that appear and disappear.  This couple was all about fun and laughs and a little water would not stop them from having fun!

]]> As a photographer, I always encourage couples to have an engagement session before their wedding day to help them get comfortable in front of a camera. It’s also a great opportunity for couples to see how we work and for us to get to know them better. For Lisa + David, this engagement session was a breeze. They were both very comfortable in front of the camera and have the most natural smiles and expressions. From the very beginning of our shoot, they were both enjoying themselves fully and had lots of fun and laughter. Lisa and David also both have great personalities and can easily connect with anyone. We spent the day exploring the popular Dumbo neighborhood and Brooklyn Bridge Park in Brooklyn. The wonderful neighborhood provides for an abundant amount of places and views for great photos.
