Who are you?
I am a self-taught, aspiring signature brand photographer who just simply loves to shoot pictures.  My friends know me as the tech savvy guy who loves new technology and is their "go-to" person for technology advice. I also have an underlying background in graphic design, which has been extremely helpful for my photography career.  I am creative and focused, and when I have my heart set on something, I strive to achieve.    

What is your style?
Behind every picture, style is defined by both the photographer and subject.  Everyone is unique in their own way and exhibits their own style through their own expressions and actions.  My style is to emphasize on the realistic and natural side of each photo.  I believe this allows me to complement your style to the fullest.  I prefer directing over posing, as I believe the approach gives a more natural touch.  I enjoy spontaneity in photos as well as looking for fresh angles and composition.

When did you start?
I remember when I picked up my first digital camera, the Nikon Coolpix 4200, and started taking pictures.  I quickly fell in love with what I was capturing and that is when it all began.  It piqued my curiosity and interest.  Shortly after, I researched and purchased my first SLR camera in 2006.  Ever since then, I have not stopped shooting or learning.  I am always looking for new ways to inspire and motivate myself.  It is the only way one can improve and evolve. 

Where are you based?
I am currently living in Staten Island with my family.  I was born and raised as a fellow New Yorker and have lived around New York City all my life.  Although based in New York, I am an avid traveler.  It is one of the many advantages of photography that I enjoy most.  Photographs have no boundaries - they can be taken anytime and anywhere.  I can easily envision destination weddings becoming one of my favorite events.

Why photography?
A famous writer once said, "Time is the most undefinable yet paradoxical of things; the past is gone, the future has not come, and the present becomes the past even while we attempt to define it, and, like the flash of lightning, at once exists and expires" .

We are constantly trying to savor the present and bask in the moment while time is rapidly passing by us.  Photographs provide us with the solution and the mechanism by which we remember who we were with, what we were doing, and our emotions throughout the course of the moment.  Photographs go beyond our memories and can define every detail that we forget.   As we go about defining and living the present, photographs are capturing those moments for eternity. 

I decided to pursue my interest in photography because I wanted and needed to remember it all.  Every moment with friends and family, every minute with my loved ones.   Birthdays, holidays, vacations, engagements and weddings.  Moments of emotions - surprise, anticipation, joy, and true love.

I decided to pursue my career in photography because I wanted and needed to share it all.  I appreciate all that photography has done for me, and am looking forward to providing the same experiences and wonders to new people in new places.
